Book # 7 # 8 # 9 # 10

Sooooooo......I've neglected to keep up with listing my books for the year.  Here's a quick list of the ones I've recently finished:

John Sandford is my favorite crime/thriller writer.  I love his characters, and I read every one of his books.  Mad River did not disappoint.
Yes, I read a lot of Patterson, and I read all the Alex Cross novels.  Merry Christmas, Alex Cross was pretty darn good, combining two totally different, yet equally horrific crimes.

Dark, different, disturbing, I was a fan of most of Gone Girl, but the ending was disappointing.

Besides the fact that I regularly needed some tissue, I really enjoyed The Time of My Life (I'm not sure "enjoy" is the correct way to describe it, when I knew that ultimately a beloved actor and dancer and Texan lost his battle with cancer).  If you're a Swayze fan, grab a box of Kleenex, then read this book.
