List #17 - Four Fun Facts

Ashley at Rainstorms and Love Notes shared this post as a fun way to get to know each other better.  I like to make lists, and I like randomness, so this was perfect for me.  If you decide to play along, post a link in the comments, so I can go read fun facts about you!

Four names that people call me other than my real name:
1. Sweet Girl (from my dad)
2. Ern (from a few college friends)
3. Babe (from my guy)
4. I really don't have many nicknames, but I'm sure I've been called plenty of "names" behind my back.

Four jobs I’ve had:
1. Hostess at Red Lobster (high school)
2. Caseworker for Texas juvenile justice (post-college)
3. Sales Account Manager in the world of building materials (glamorous stuff)
4. Sales extraordinaire of fine jewelry (currently)

Four movies I’ve watched more than once:
1. Grease 2
2. The Outsiders
3. Love Actually
4. Almost Famous

Four books I’d recommend:
1. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
2. Burial Rites by Hannah Kent
3. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
4. 102 Minutes by Jim Dwyer and Kevin Flynn

Four places I’ve lived:
1. Houston, Texas
2. Sydney, Australia
3. Newport Beach, California
4. College Station, Texas

Four places I’ve visited:
1. Interlaken, Switzerland
2. Santa Fe, New Mexico
3. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
4. Natadola, Fiji

Four places I’d rather be right now:
1. Any of the four places above
2. In a overstuffed comfy chair with a book
3. Having a spa day
4. At a concert

Four things I don’t eat:
1. Eggplant
2. Seafood
3. Mushrooms
4. Chicken on the bone

Four of my favorite foods:
1. Nachos
2. Chips and queso
3. Fajitas
4. Tacos

Four TV shows I watch:
1. Dance Moms (embarrassing but true)
2. Fast 'n' Loud (with my guy)
3. The Regular Show (with my guy and his son)
4. The Voice (Australian and US versions)

Four things I’m looking forward to this year:
1. I suppose I should say getting married ;)
2. Taking my guy home to Texas
3. Seeing the family for Christmas and New Year's
4. Tex-Mex in Texas!

Four things I’m always saying:
1. "y'all"  (I've been in Australia for six years, but that will never leave my vocabulary)
2. "No worries" (I've definitely adopted this Aussie saying into my speech patterns)
3. “Booger" (So...one of my cat's nickname is "Booger".  It comes from a show that we watched about people with weird pets who had a pet buffalo named "Sugar Booger".  I'm a little weird about Astro, and he is totally a mama's boy.  So, I called him Sugar Booger which got shortened to Booger.  Yes, I've admitted that I am a crazy cat lady.)
4. “I'm hungry!" (What can I say?  I'm a girl who likes to eat.)

My booger and me
Can you relate to any of these that I've listed?  Why don't you share four fun facts with me......
