Playlist 3: Rock This Halloween

Do you like Halloween?  Do you like rock music?  Then, this is the playlist for you.  Typically, I listen to Rob Zombie all day every Halloween.  This year, I added a few others in a playlist so I can Rock This Halloween.  You can rock with me too!  (still heavy on Mr. Zombie songs)

This is not a playlist for those that want to Monster Mash or Time Warp...but don't let yourself think you can't dance to these songs.  One of the reasons I love Rob Zombie so much is because I say he makes "rock music that I can dance to". 

So, if you're looking for a little something heavier than Thriller this year, but you're not into Screamo or Black Metal either, then look no further.  Play this, and play it loud!

    Oh, I really can't handle Marilyn Manson. His voice creeps me out and not in a fun way.

    I'm SO tired of Thriller, Time Warp and Monster Mash! Love, love, love this list, and saving and utilizing via Spotify for my Halloween party-- Thanks girl!

    Yes! I hate that all the Halloween mixes are cheesy. However, many of these artists are on my running playlist so I wonder how that would jive in my mind?

    I don't do playlists like this (or any topical ones, for the most part) but I do wonder why I'm not following you on Spotify. Speaking of playlists, I'm working on our collaborative one next week. I'll have everything for you by mid-week.

    I don't have a specific Halloween playlist, but I love that you included a couple of Marilyn Manson songs! Their version of "I Put a Spell on You" has always been one of my favorite covers. I definitely have been known to crank that one up in the car!

    I've also always loved the Guns N' Roses version of "Sympathy for the Devil." They play it at the end of Interview With the Vampire, which was my favorite movie for YEARS. I don't really like The Rolling Stones (I know, I know ... My husband says this is blasphemy!), but I do like this song ... I just prefer this version.
