Linking up with the ladies who love to spread positivity, Lindsay & Krysten, for Ten Things That Made Me Happy This Week:
1. That I'm actually participating in this week's link-up because I've been neglecting this positive exercise the last few weeks
2. My guy and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on Monday. Yay for us!
4. Snap-chatting with Kristen about books, blogs, and nonsense
(wanna add me? I'm texerin)
5. Being nominated for Best Kept Secret in Karen's Blog Awards
6. Glittery, sparkly, festive nails
8. Wrapping presents - mine aren't overly crafty or perfectly matching, but they are wrapped with care, and it's a chore that I love doing.
9. A customer is handing my guy $3,000 cash for a pair of earrings as I type this...that makes me happy alright!
10. The excitement is building for Book Challenge by Erin that begins January 1st. (yes, books and book challenges are a constant source of happiness for me as well.)
What made you happy this week?
Don't feel bad if life gets in the way and you don't have time to link up. It's all good, homie.
ReplyDeleteFur baby cuddles is always up there on my list, whether I declare it or not. :)
Gotta finish up some shopping this weekend and decorate. Part of me doesn't want to pull the tree out; as we're leaving in a week to go up north to see Jeff's family.... To put up the tree at this point or not, that's my dilemma. Hmmm.
Happy happy anniversary!

ReplyDeleteI did actually say, "Is it January 1st yet so I can start reading some of these books yet?" the other day.
Free desert is the BEST.
Free anniversary dessert is awesome. And holy cow, someone is going to be happy to get those $3,000 earrings! But maybe not quite as happy as you and your husband to be getting the money. ;)
ReplyDeleteKitty cuddles - love it! What was your dessert, by the way?
ReplyDeleteHappy one year anniversary! Aww...your kitty gives good cuddles.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm so excited about your book challenge! Trying to decide which one I should start with in the new year.
It sounds like you had a great anniversary dinner and free dessert always makes dinner even better! I'm so excited about your challenge and can't wait to see how everybody does! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI need to get my list for the challenge up on Facebook! I can't wait!
