Kimmi posted this Meditation App Review nearly a month ago. I downloaded a couple of the apps fully intending to incorporate meditating in my life. I confess: Haven't done it. Haven't even opened the apps. #tomorrowisanotherday

I confess: I'm feeling homesick. I am much better when I have an actual trip to Texas planned and booked. Have I already mentioned this? Oh well. It's still true. #expatproblems
Since the dog I left behind in Texas, Jesse James, passed away a couple of weeks ago, I confess that I've been making efforts to spend more time with these gorgeous girls of mine. #furkidsgiveunconditionallove
I confess: I don't know what's the difference between sparkling water and soda water. #isthereadifference
I confess: I got online and reserved 8 books at the library. Some are for book challenges; some aren't. Some are based on recommendations from other bloggers. I have books at home needing to be read, but the library beckons. #jugglingbooksishard #gimmeallthebooks
I am trying to write a "50 Before 50" post. But. Fuck. 50?!?! Really?!?! I confess: I'm having a difficult time looking at the slippery slope of falling down the 50 hole. #ishouldbe32 #not42
LOL meditation takes time! You'll find your groove! I am right there with you on books! I have stacks and yet keep ordering more.
ReplyDeleteI always have good intentions when I think about meditation and yoga but then I never actually do it. And I just requested two more books on Netgalley when I had 8 others on there that I needed to get through. Not to mention allll of the other books I have. We have book hoarding problems, don't we? Its not a problem if you can admit it :)
ReplyDeleteApparently I have been logged into the wrong account! Ugh no reply is so irritating!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to check out the meditation apps, I miss my favorite which is not compatible with my crappy phone maybe I can find a good alternative.
ReplyDeleteI too do not know the difference between sparkling water and soda water. I thought they were the same. haha I don't drink either so that is probably why I have no clue.
ReplyDeleteGirl, you have PLENTY of time before 50 :) And those pups are just the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a difference between sparking and soda water...?
age is a weird thing. i feel way younger than my almost-mid-thirties. i know i know but it's weird ha. i need to read that post about friends! i feel like this is happening more and more lately as we move through other stages in our lives.

I just got notice that my library book I had on hold is in & now I'm like CRUD - I have to finish this book - I'm doing book juggling right now too.
ReplyDeleteYep - loosing a pet makes you super aware of the time you have with your other fur babies.
Is there a difference between soda water & sparkling water? Really? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI just got started on NetGalley and I'm so tempted to go and request a bunch of books, but I know that I won't have time to read them all, especially since I have to finish your challenge by next month! Why can't we just read for work? I hope you get to plan a trip to Texas very soon! It always helps to know the next time you'll be somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI really don't think there's a difference between sparking water and soda water. They both taste great with vodka!
ReplyDeleteI confess I took a book challenge break to read Leah Remini's book, but I'm back on the challenge and loving the book I'm reading now. "D" Detours by Emma Gates.
I struggle with meditating, too. I did learn that there's something called rage yoga and I feel that would be good for me.
ReplyDeleteI had to take a library break to catch up on all the eBooks. Once those are done, there will be a bookstorm.
I tend to meditate more during the warmer months, when I can get outside and do it on my deck. The irony is that I need to do it during the colder months, when I'm in the middle of a chaotic school year. For some reason, I don't meditate well indoors... Go figure.
ReplyDeleteYour pups (don't you call them the destructive duo?) have the happiest faces! They look like they are smiling! Love it!
I love the confessions posts, they're fun to read. I have one semi done but the day ran away on me and I disntger time to post, on top of the blog paws one.
ReplyDeleteYour girls look immensely happy but I must say, they look like happy pigs in shit when they've destroyed something and they're looking quite proud of themselves.
Love you!
If it makes you feel any better, I wouldn't have guessed you were 42 in a million years. Sorry you've been feeling homesick lately—I have no cure for that, as I've really never been. But it seems to me like snuggling your girls might be a good fix for some of those times!
ReplyDeletei inhaled a great book i got 2 days ago at the library (me, earl and the dying girl -- so good!) and on to the next one. finally, ive got my reading mojo back!
ReplyDeleteNo guilt in not linking up or hashtagging friend - heck I can barely show up for my own link up! Sorry you are feeling homesick, hopefully time with your pups and some good books make that easier!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on feeling 32 instead of 42 but it is what it is! Get that 50 before 50 written and start working towards it! It actually is fun to think of all the awesome things you can do . . . the world is our playground! Sad about Jesse James . . . today my old man Petey is 16 . . . not much time left with him and it's heartbreaking.
