Our feline twins celebrated their birthday this week ~ Ricky & Ivy are 3!
The father-in-law had a birthday too. I celebrated by eating fried stuff with cheese on top (aka chicken parmigiana).
My step-mom sent this to me to wish me a happy Friday.

If you know me, you know I do not like cleaning house. I've never claimed to be domestic. This is my stunning self after 8 hours of cleaning with probably 2 more hours to go. Kill me now.

Oh, girl! I hear ya loud and clear on the never claiming to be domestic thing and I'm right there with ya! It took me the better part of 2 weekends to thoroughly clean my bedroom, closet, and master bath.

10 hours worth of cleaning? Yep that would definitely finish me off. You've got stamina! Sally is absolutely adorable and I wish I could have gelato with that view....
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the cleaning! I forced myself to clean and do laundry and just crashed..I kind of feel like I deserve another Sunday. And LOVE that you shared the glamour shot you found!
ReplyDelete10 hours of cleaning? *Shudder* I am most definitely not domestic, but somehow I need to get my place clean by Saturday since we have a visitor coming (again!). I only found out last night and I go away on a work trip in 3 hours until Wednesday evening. Hmmm. (Jan has extra choir practices for his performance at the weekend so he won't be home to do it either)
ReplyDeleteholy moly that's a lot of cleaning! i am not super into cleaning, i do the bare minimum and then like every now and again do a crazy full day of cleaning. blah. those glamour shots were the best. the chicken parm looks AMAZING. where was that?! happy birthday Ricky & Ivy!

Give me all the gelato and that view right now! Finding old pictures is always so much fun, but especially when they're glamor shots! My parents had one of me hanging in their house for the longest time!
ReplyDeleteThat glamour shot is everything! I remember doing one when I was younger, but with a big fluffy white feather boa. I thought it was the best thing ever at the time.
