Sunday's Seven Snapshots vol.115

I took my lunch to work everyday this week, and I'm pretty proud of that fact.

Reading blogs with my little buddy by my side (p.s. I'm behind on blog reading...again...I will catch up soon!)

Spent a little time with Sebastian Bach this week ~ you know, I love my rock bios ~ for younger readers, this guy used to sing in a band called Skid Row, and in the late '80s/early "90s, they were hugely popular.  He's also been on Broadway in Jekell & Hyde, Rocky Horror, and Jesus Christ Superstar.  Oh, apparently he's in Gilmore Girls too.

This is ANZAC Bridge ~ I walked across it today while participating in my first ever 10K!

Still walking ~ yep, that's the same bridge in the distance.

We finished!

And, I had the most handsome supporters waiting for me at the end :)

Happy weekend to you and yours!

  1. Yay on walking your first 10k! That's awesome. I know OF Sebastian Bach, but I don't know a whole lot about his career - beyond him doing Broadway and Gilmore Girls. Hope you're enjoying the biography though. :)

  10. Way to go on completing your 10K! 6.2 miles is definitely no joke! And also hooray for bringing your lunch everyday! I feel like that's an accomplishment in and of itself because sometimes it can just be easier to go out for lunch than to pack something.

  13. All the high fives on the 10K! And congrats on taking your lunch to work everyday! It's hard to get in to but once you do it, you get used to it and you save money and usually eat healthier. When I work in the office I take my lunch 4 out of the 5 days a week.

  14. CONGRATULATIONS on your first 10K! As you can see, I am behind in blogging reading as well. I'm glad it went well and that you (seemed) to enjoy it!

I seriously laughed out loud when I read your disclaimer about the Bach bio... for you younger readers, he was in a band called Skid Row. I laughed because I find myself saying things like that to younger teachers I work with all the time. LOL!

I love comments, and I enjoy our interactions. I respond via email, but if you're a "no reply blogger", I can't. Don't think I'm ignoring you!
