Sunday's Seven Snapshots vol.75

Sometimes, a gal needs a choc dipped soft serve.

This guy. I dish up the dog food, and he starts eating. He thinks he's a dog. Or, he just does whatever he wants. Yea, I'm going with the latter.

Go to the juice bar for breakfast, tryin' to be somewhat healthy, leave with blueberry banana bread. I'm weak.

I took this picture and sent it to the husband entitled "current mood".

I've got one more library book to finish before I start tackling my own bookshelf for the Read My Books challenge that begins in a few days.

We introduced the 8 year old stepkid to Independence Day. He saw the trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence and was interested. This is one of those blockbuster movies that I'm guilty of watching over and over again. Stepkid loved it and claimed he "can't wait" for the new one.

No, I do not live in America anymore, but I will always proudly keep my American citizenship. I am appreciative of all who served and continue to do so. I am humbled by those that gave the ultimate sacrifice. Not only do I think of the service men and women we've lost, but I am grateful to their families and loved ones as well.

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

  1. Girl, you have the unibomber look going on in that one picture! LOL! Independence Day is one of those movies that both my husband and I will select whenever we find in on one of the numerous movie channels we have. Not sure why, but it definitely one of our "go to" movies. Have a good one!

PS Looking forward to the category reveal for 5.0!

  6. I like you current mood photo. That's me today. I had a co-worker say "good morning" to me and I totally ignored him for 2 minutes until I realized that he'd said it. Haha. I apologized and returned the greeting.

  7. Sometimes all you need is ice cream, especially if it's been a rough day! I think that's awesome that you introduced your stepson to Independence Day! It's one of the best Will Smith movies! And yes to everything you said about Memorial Day! There's so many great men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!

  8. i know i have seen independence day but it's been a loooooong time so i will need to rewatch it before the new one (which kc refuses to see because he thinks it will be horrible). i have a special place in my heart for Jeff Goldblum. I know, it's weird.
a choc dipped cone... i am so jealous. i just recently learned that DQ has those but i haven't had one yet. i miss good ol soft serve, like mr whippy. i know there are places in the US that have it, but not that I can find in KY :( which is probably for the best lol

  9. Confession: I just watched Independence Day for the first time last year. I'm not really into action movies, but I loved it and can't wait for the new one either! I've sent many pics to Blue with a similar current mood lol. I've never tried a chocolate shell on my ice cream, but...ice cream!

  10. When we were handed the beer menu I was impressed. Really nice selection of beers and ciders. With 20 rotating craft beer lines, there is more than enough to choose from. This venue NYC is among the best around here.

I love comments, and I enjoy our interactions. I respond via email, but if you're a "no reply blogger", I can't. Don't think I'm ignoring you!
