I'm sad that I got some news about a very close loved one who received some lousy medical news.
I'm sad that she has to battle this disease for a second time. (Although, she seems to be facing it with a fight and positive spirit.)
I'm sad that her husband has already lost one spouse to this disease, and he is having to face being the cheerleader for another. (Although, he's stronger than any man I know.)
I'm sad that I'm not there to show more support and give hugs when needed.
I'm sad that there is a Celebration of Life for my friend that we lost a couple of weeks ago that I am going to miss. #TeamKeesler
I'm sad.
I don't have many followers or readers, but those of you that are here, I appreciate so much. The support and encouragement and smiles that I get through my blogger interactions are amazing. When I'm sad, I need a smile. Thank you for your positivity that I feel from across oceans.

ReplyDeleteBe sad. From sadness comes reflection and change. Sadness always gives me strength. Maybe not right then. But after. I'm sad. But I'm thankful that you and I are dear friends that have lived life through good and tough times. Laughing and crying through it all. Love you tons.
ReplyDeleteI love you darlin... I can't believe the word cancer is being uttered another time, when not just a short time ago another beloved was taken from this horrible and awful disease. :( I'm rooting for your friend.
