Please Read Stuff and Things vol.6...

...because I didn't have the time to put together a post...and that doesn't matter because anything I have to say at the moment isn't as important as what Kaity shared:

He Grabbed Me By My Pussy: My Sexual Assault Story

or what her sister shared:

It was NEVER my Fault: Kelly's Sexual Assault Story

or what her friend shared:

This Stops with Us: A's Sexual Assault Story

I believe in knowledge.

I believe in support.

I believe in encouragement.

I believe in cleansing.

I believe in the strength of these women.

I believe awareness is a tool to battle sexual assault.

  3. I read all three of those posts and totally agree. I was so proud of all of them for sharing their stories. And, as always, disgusted that there are men out there like this and that 99% of the time, they get away with it, whether it's because of victim shaming from society, or our justice system that does nothing.

  4. Good of you to share these. Awareness and a refusal to sit down and be quiet is how the change begins.

  6. I believe awareness is absolutely key to battling sexual assault and letting other women (and men) know that they are no alone. That this is not acceptable behavior or locker room talk or boy talk. Thanks for sharing.

  9. Trump's notion that women claimed sexual assault for their ten minutes of fame is absolutely sickening. I haven't read any of these, admittedly (I'm not ready to be ragey just yet) but I'll have to circle back around when I feel I can take it.

I love comments, and I enjoy our interactions. I respond via email, but if you're a "no reply blogger", I can't. Don't think I'm ignoring you!
