Sunday's Seven Snapshots vol.108

Organizing, editing, sending, and printing resumes... Astro's way of helping?  Sitting on the resume. I'm pretty sure he just wants me to be a stay-at-home cat mom.

The stepkid started year 4 (4th grade) this week ~ here's hoping he has a great year!

Walking selfie - it didn't happen unless I photo document it, right?  No, actually I took it to prove to one of my friends that I was walking in the heat.  My forehead looks unusually massive in this picture.

Another week of hot temps, so the girls spent some time inside and right after this picture, they got hosed down with water.

It's fun to find random pieces of home like this tile on a while in a clothing store.

Met some friends for lunch on Saturday, and this blood orange margarita was phenomenal.

It was super hot on Sunday, and neither of us felt like cooking, so this was dinner ~ avocado, cherry tomatoes, and feta on toast.

Have a great week!

  4. I question every day why I can't be a stay at home dog mom. One day. Life goals.

  5. I can't believe how hot it's been! I don't know how you're coping, much less out walking in it. My niece started school last week! First day of term uniform photos are the best. I hope school has been kind to the stepkid so far :)

  6. I bet Astro and all your fur babies would love it if you could be a stay-home Mom. When I first started working from home, my cat Emeril was confused. Normally he stayed by me but after the second week, he was like this is when I nap under the bed, so adios. :D The blood orange margarita looks phenomenal.

  7. When Astro comes up with the logistics on how to be a stay at home cat mom (or dog mom in my case), do share, will you? Lol

The avo, tomatoes and feta on toast looks soooo yummy and hearty, too.

I've noticed a lot in pictures lately that the boy isn't looking like a little boy anymore. He's starting to look more like a young man. Crazy!!!

  9. YAY for walking selfies! LOL! I find myself taking them, too, and sending them to various "accountability buddies" or posting them on FB every once in a while. Good for you, girl!

PS As always, love the pics of your cats!

  10. Ha my cat is obsessed with the printer so I have to monitor it so he doesn't crumple the paper as it comes out! Glad TX made its way to AUS! That must be fun to find!

  11. We tend to eat a lot of sammiches when it's hot outside.. also because the heat makes me lazy.

Ugh, speaking of heat. Things I'm not ready for: Charleston Hell (aka summer)

  12. Your cat is so cute! :) My sister is his age. :) :) A really fun age!! Nom on that margarita! It sounds amazing! The weather here has been so weird. It's been warm and spring-like recently... but then today it is FREEZING! Weird. XO - Alexandra
