1. Calling all book lovers - this story and video should certainly bring a smile to your face: Nowra librarians promote joy of books on youtube
2. This is the greatest water bottle I've ever owned. Seriously. I buy a 2liter everyday of sparkling water (I prefer it to still water), keep it in the refrigerator, and refill this all day long. This single product has helped me drink more water and kick other sugary drinks to the curb. (I'm not getting paid to say this; it's my unbiased opinion.)
3. Alright. This video has made the rounds for a couple of months, but I had a friend share it again on facebook. I had to re-watch it at least three times in a row because it is that good. If you need to laugh, or you need to smile, or you need a little sassy in your life, watch this. Even if you've seen it before, it's worth it to watch it again.
4. This:
5. I'm stealing Megan's idea and adding this to my Friday Favorites because it is quickly becoming a favorite activity (focusing on things that make me happy).
- My Texas A&M Aggie football team is 2-0.
- Thrift store finds - a Pyrex dish, books
- A two hour nap on Monday
- My fur baby, Astro's 2nd birthday
- My guy told a customer of ours that I like leopard print; she bought me a scarf just to be nice & thoughtful.
- My niece, Jenna, was named Junior Homecoming Duchess for her high school.
- Two of the loveliest people I know in Australia welcomed their first child, a beautiful boy named Louis.
- This post from Kerry (a must-read for any dog lover): Boys Drool and Dogs Rule
- Using Qantas points so I could get a new ipod shuffle for free!
- Forehead kisses from my guy
Happy Birthday to Astro! I like how you are adding those things that make you happy at the end;). I also love that water bottle and think I may have a water bottle obsession haha! Have a great weekend Erin!

Yep gonna need that water bottle. I also thinking of things that make me happy this morning...thunderstorms, puppy kisses, my little girl snuggled up asleep against me, and coffee in bed. Life is good.
ReplyDeleteThat video is adorable. I had heard about it but I don't recalling watching it. I just watched and couldn't stop smiling about it. I got a Swell water bottle. I got it because it actually does keep water cold for 24 hours and I like cold water. Plus the bottle can fit ice cubs, they too stay for 24 hours. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love that video of that girl dancing! She is adorable! I used to teach dance to ages 2-5 so that totally brings me back!

I love the reading meme, nothing could be more true. If a book is good enough it lives in my mind and keeps me from starting another!
ReplyDeleteThat video is hilarious! Yes to all the naps!! That was so sweet she got you a scarf! Thanks for the link love! Seamus gives you a lick of approval! ;)
ReplyDeletelove the 10 things list, i'll have to add it next time i do a favourites.
ReplyDeletelove that water bottle! although, gotta admit i am super partial to the one you got me - no lie, i have used it errrrry day and in fact i am drinking out of it as we speak (type).
I'm in the market for a new water bottle... I'll have to see if I can find that one! (I lost my favorite water bottle when I was drunk and it was filled with booze instead of water... womp, wooomppp! lol)

ReplyDelete#4 is ME haha. Sometimes I actually get depressed when I finish a book because I miss the characters!
ReplyDeleteHey hey girlfriend! I'm just about to have a nap on the train - hell-ish day and I just want to sleep all weekend but that ain't happening. :-P do have a lovely weekend babe! Xo
ReplyDeleteThat dance recital video cracked me up! I finished Eleanor & Park (in like two days) and I was distraught. Certain books do that to me, and then others (even if they're good) I'll be relieved when they're done if it's taking me a long time to finish them!
ReplyDeleteYou are the third blogger today who is into Aggie football. Forehead kisses! Love those too. Have a good weekend and it is nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet...forehead kisses!! And your boy, Mr Astro has a birthday. He's a teenager 14. Lol. I love pink and drink lots of water so that bottle is right up my alley. 10 happy things is such a great way to reflect!! You're a wise and gorgeous woman!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove forehead kisses!! Happy birthday to Astro & congratulations to your niece on homecoming!! & the #3 video of the dance recital little girl is sooo cute!! Love watching it! Every. Single. Time!!

Oh my goodness, #4 is exactly how I feel after finishing a book, especially if it was a really good one. Like, I totally feel bereft and wonder well, what now? These books suck you in! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to the pup! That is so me when I read a book. What are you reading now? I love forehead kisses but mostly because my nose is always in a book! haha! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAw!! Forehead kisses are the best! :) Also- how sweet of that lady to buy you that scarf. That inspires me to do more random-nice things. Sounds like you had a great week! :)
ReplyDeleteWooot woot, shoutout! Obviously I'm a mabillitonty years late to the game, but thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteMy camelbak bottle was what made a difference in my water drinking. It was a gift from Teh WJL when we were in college and when it cracked the DAY before I left MD to come to SC, I was devastated. I almost cried.
Hell yes to the naps!
Oh wow, thank you so much for sharing the Librarian Rhapsody!
