Sunday's Seven Snapshots vol.32

I don't do it often, but I posted a few thoughts on twitter about the Australian version of The Voice.  I watch very little tv, but I do watch this.  As the show is playing, they post twitter comments at the bottom of the screen.  Yep.  My comment made it on tv.  I'm such a dork.  Hey - do you follow me on twitter?  If you don't, you totally should.

I'm still pretty enamored with my hair extensions.  Plus, did I mention they were free??  Even better.  The owner of the salon got a new range of extensions and was having her colourists try a sample of coloring it to match a current client's hair.  How awesome is that?

Doesn't everyone communicate on viber with their mother via stickers and emojis?

On Friday, I spent a few glorious hours wandering in the city.  One stop - bookstore.  I walked around and read all the staff recommendation notecards and added books on my goodreads "to read" list based on those recommendations.  Hey - are we friends on goodreads?  Because if we aren't, we totally should be.

Another stop while wandering was Sephora.  I'm a self-confessed make-up junkie, but I conquered temptation and did not buy a thing (because I really don't need anything, but I wanted lots of things).  Go me!

The best thing about my Friday adventures - this indulgence.  I had a midmorning tea at Ladurée.  It was the most magnificent tasting tea I've ever had.  Seriously.  As it should have been, because it was the most expensive tea I've ever had too.  I had the "Chéri" described as "Delicate blend of black tea, cocoa, caramel and vanilla.  A gourmet and passionate tribute to Colette and her writings."  I don't know who Colette is, and I'm sure I should, but she inspires an exquisite tasting tea.

These two.  My destructive duo.  When I took this picture, I was saying to them: "Who got the window all muddy?  What do you have to say for yourselves?" They said nothing, but they sure had guilty looks on their faces.  I love these mutts.

Hope you're having a magnificent weekend!

  1. Oh my gosh when I was studying abroad in Australia our TV was awful and just super fuzzy so we didn't watch it. My parents came to visit for two weeks and they rented an apartment and we became obsessed with the Australian version of the Voice! Keith Urban was my fave. Not sure if he's still on it. (I have yet to watch the American version.) Annd I don't have Twitter anymore but we are now Goodreads friends!! Your pups are super cute. :)

  4. When I had Twitter, Todd Chrisley would interact with me. That was awesome! Girl, you have some serious strength to not buy anything in Sephora. I wish I could go there but we don't have one in my town. BOO!

  5. That tea looks amazing, I'm not sure I know anywhere in American you can find something like that.

The doggie on the left says it was him/her and the doggie on the right is saying wasn't me!

  7. Your dogs are the cutest! Those faces! I love wandering book stores. I did it a couple of days ago and added so many books to my list, I don't know when to read them! Do you know the books by Fredrik Backman? A Man Called Ove and My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry? They sound fabulous! I need to read them!

I love comments, and I enjoy our interactions. I respond via email, but if you're a "no reply blogger", I can't. Don't think I'm ignoring you!
