Sunday's Seven Snapshots vol.87

My library haul this week is even color coordinated.

Tickets purchased for February's Gun N Roses show

View from the library...not bad, huh?

Speaking of "not bad"........this donut is 100% vegan. That means it's good for me, right?

SPRING is coming!  My favorite season!

Spent the weekend showcasing jewellery at a Spring Festival. They hosted an exquisite art show as well.

These giraffes by kindergarten students were my absolute faves!

Hope you had a wonderful week!

  1. Spring might be my least favorite season, but that tree! I'd like it if we had trees like that :)

In lieu of a library haul, I got 5 audiobooks at the Audible sale. I'm wonder about The Light Between Oceans...everyone is talking about it, so that means it's either really good, or everyone thinks it's really good and I won't like it.

  2. I'm struggling with wanting to check out more books from the library despite the fact that I already have 5 checked out. Why do we always want more? Haha. I'm forcing myself to wait until I've at least finished/returned 3 of the books I have out now. I think that's totally doable.

Of the books you checked out, I've only read Sister. I read it last year, and I remember liking it because the author took the story in a direction I really wasn't expecting. It wasn't the best book I've ever read, but I thought it was interesting. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts!

So exciting about the concert tickets! I saw your post on Instagram and was like, "YES!" :-)

That red velvet donut looks delicious. I love red velvet anything! (And yes, since it's vegan it's obviously good for you. Well, it's better for you than the Dunkin' Donuts I ate last weekend AND this weekend. Haha.)

I love the artwork you posted! The kid artwork is always so fun. :-)

  4. I bought 3 audiobooks from the Audible sale. Then on Sunday, Goodreads send me an email that The Pearl Who Broke It's Shell was $1.99 and I couldn't pass that up. So now I'm swimming in books! The best #firstworldproblem.

  6. I love the artwork, both professional and kids. It looks like you got a good haul at the library. I have been in and out of my library, like 3 times last week with hold books coming in for me. I keep forgetting about my hold books, so it throws me off. But somehow I manage to make do, HA! And I'm pretty sure it's a rule, somewhere, that vegan donuts are a good for you. :)

  10. Hooray for the Guns and Roses tickets! I know that you're ecstatic! And of course, if anything is listed as Vegan or GF, then it's totally healthy for you! I'm glad that you had a great weekend!

  11. I need that donut!!!! Yum!!! Cant wait to hear what you think of Light Between Oceans, I have it on my list. Guns n Roses would be so cool to see. I remember when my parents went to see them when I was little. My mom slit her thumb open with a knife while cooking dinner before they left and she refused to go get stitches because she didn't want to miss the show.
